2025: Richmond Steel City Connection is an Official Steelers Fan Club!

The Richmond Steel City Connection has become an Official Fan Club of the Pittsburgh Steelers! You can see our listing in Virginia on the map at the bottom of the Steelers Nation Unite Page for Fan Clubs. The Steelers sent us this awesome Terrible Towel with our club name, an official Steelers Nation Unite Flag and a letter from Art Rooney II. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our group since it kicked off in 1988!

2025 Children’s Hospital Check Presentation

We had a great September day for our annual check presentation to Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. We collected $9691.59 during our ’24-’25 season! Thanks to Sports Page Goochland for always being such great hosts! A BIG THANK YOU to all who donated and who joined us for the presentation! (Plus, our Steelers won!)

2024 Richmond Steel City Bus Trip (Nov ’24)

What a game! Fifty-five of our Richmond Steel City faithful took a bus up to Washington to watch our Steelers beat the Commanders 28-27. It was awesome to see Steelers Nation represent and make our “road” game feel like a home game! Thanks to everyone who joined us!

2024 Children’s Hospital Check Presentation

We had an amazing, energetic group of folks and a beautiful October day for our annual check presentation to Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. This year we collected $9014.84 during our ’23-’24 season! Thanks to Sports Page Goochland for hosting us and thank you to all who donated and who joined us for the presentation! (Plus, our Steelers won!)

Richmond Steel City CHoR Tour (April ’23)

Check out some of our photos from our tour of the new Children’s Tower at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) at VCU! We took a tour of the space in April, including checking out the Richmond Steel City Connection sign on the Level 10 Unit Secretary Station! We’re so proud to support CHoR!
